CHRIS BEUCLER
CHIEF EXPANSION OFFICER
As Chief Expansion Officer, Chris Beucler leads Blue Heron’s expansion initiatives, drawing on extensive experience in homebuilding and development. Previously, Chris was instrumental in shaping Blue Heron’s Nexus Division, launching ten communities, and delivering 174 homes. His expertise lies in fostering developer partnerships, identifying new market opportunities, and expanding the company’s footprint while maintaining its commitment to delivering unique, luxurious living environments.
Chris served as Chief Operating Officer for Zephyr Partners in San Diego for ten years, managing over $494 million in completed projects and $879 million in developments. Before that, he spent 11 years building award-winning custom homes at Beucler Signature Homes in San Diego. He served as Division President of Ryland Homes in Southern California, overseeing the delivery of over 4,200 homes valued at over $840 million. His leadership across various roles demonstrates his dedication to growth and excellence within Blue Heron.

BUILDING HOMES
Over the years, Chris Beucler has evolved across many facets of the building industry, learning and mastering building and development in single-family, multi-family, commercial, industrial, mixed-use, hospitality and high-rise construction. The mission is always the same- create spaces and communities where people can come together to enjoy one another and enjoy the everyday moments of life.
One of the most unique things about Chris as a builder are his incredible relationships that have spanned decades. It’s through the authentic building of relationships that trust is established between team members, community stakeholders, vendors and trades teams. For any piece of the building puzzle, Chris’ roster of human resources is as deep as it is wide- he can call on colleagues from years ago, and is also always available to return the favor.
While the formula for real estate development is similar across any scope of project, what sets Chris apart is his commitment to continual improvement- in building techniques, team leadership, project potential and personal development.

In developing teams, there is no one-size fits all program. Just as how the topography of the land you build upon will vary and therefore provide a unique landscape for the project, the experience, talents and mindset of each team member and the culture of the organization will shape the landscape of a company.
Under Chris’ guidance, he acts as a mentor for his team members by providing education, coaching and leadership development while overseeing operations and leading his development teams through land acquisition, entitlement, management, construction, customer care and warranty.
Chris believes in surrounding himself with and helping to develop extremely talented and dedicated professionals. He arms his team members with the resources they need to succeed while empowering them to act as if they were owners of their projects and trusts hem to exceed the expectations of all stakeholders.
